Plastics have a great impact on the quality of life of people. The use of plastics provides flexibility, economy, lightness, multiple functionality and other benefits for a wide range of products in various markets: food packaging, health, transportation, aerospace, construction, agriculture, environmental protection, to name a few. The list is almost infinite and the application is limited only by the imagination.

However, what are plastics, how they are produced and used, are very little known topics.

For that reason and with the purpose of sharing our technology ALPHA MARATHON made a brief presentation with a specific theme of agricultural films. It is explained in simple form: polymer types, manufacturing processes, application of agricultural films and reuse of plastic waste.
