The Alpha Marathon Dual Spiral System (AMDS) stackable die offers unparalleled film quality by doubling each layer for enhanced characteristics. AMDS dies are particularly effective in high-barrier film packaging, especially for food or medical films where premium resins are used to achieve optimal film properties.

By doubling the layers in each module, the film gains superior characteristics per layer. The temperature isolation feature in each module allows for a broader range of resins and film structures, enabling the use of temperature-sensitive materials.

With AMDS dies, multi-layered films can meet the most demanding requirements, ensuring excellent performance across a wide range of applications.

Flow Mixing Channel

Alpha Marathon’s Flow Mixing Channel is incorporated into every die package Alpha Marathon currently produces.

The Flow Mixing Channel provides a highly efficient port to spiral distribution design allowing no areas for hang up and a highly streamlined design for optimal performance. Delivers a more homogenous melt profile for improved film properties Color and resin changeovers are typically achieved much more quickly as a result of the efficiency of the flow mixing channel design.
