One of the most important components of an extrusion coating, laminating and surface treating lines is the unwind/rewind systems.

The 2 spindles turret unwind and rewind sections are designed to achieve in line splices at the line speed without interruption, the unwind section is equipped with splice tape detection sensors, bump roll assembly and flying knife mechanism, while the rewind section is constructed with flying knife and driven lay on roll capable of running in both gap and pressure controlled contact modes.

The unwind section turret position can be easily adjusted to perform manual splices due to post process defects in the rolls.

Using state of the art digital PLC, closed loop AC vector drives and load cells, Alpha guarantees accurate tension control during continuous running and changeovers.

For easy operator interaction, the system is equipped with 2 soft touch screens, to access all the parameters necessary to ensure smooth production.

Many options are available with these systems including, but not limited to, oscillating web guides, S-wrap stations, chilled and reheat rolls.

Bubble film perforating machine is suitable for bubble film rolls, with special zigzag blade, convenient to operate, low consumption, high efficiency.

Space between perforating lines can be customized. This Bubble film perforating machine is equipped with a pneumatically actuated web stopping system.
Shaft encoder based web movement sensor.
Computerized control system, incorporating digital control panel, including display and keyboard.
Multiple accessory actuation outputs, with independent dwell and position settings.
Skip control system, facilitating complex accessory actuation sequences, where different accessories are triggered at different positions along the web.
Fault diagnostic system, with warning strobe and siren. V-castor mounting, simplifying repositioning the machine in the line.

Alpha Marathon can custom design a slit and seal unit designed for single slit or multi lane rolls.

Our units for LLDPE an LDPE film offers smooth and precise slit seal film from .0005" to .005"

Gauge and consist of high quality stainless steel block holder and brackets which accommodates the highest grade of stainless steel blades with carbide tips.

Alpha slit seal units incorporate a high wattage compact cartridge heater, heavy duty air cylinder with retractable mechanism, remote electrical control panel with temperature controller, with low deviation alarm.

This has been developed to wind small bubble and foam rolls.

This can accommodate up to 48 inch wide roll which can be further split into 6", 12" ,18" or any other size.

It has preset display counter and single or double unwind systems.

Production capacity - Maximum cycle 3 per minute i.e. 9 rolls per minute.
